Webinar results and how they compare with the industry
Most people who register for a B2B webinar do not join live, and that is true across the whole industry. Published benchmarks put live attendance at about 33 to 40 percent of registrants. Goldcast, analysing more than 19,000 webinars in 2025, reports 33 percent. Wistia's 2025 data puts it at about 40 percent. ON24 reports 57 percent of registrants watching, but that figure includes people who view on demand after the event.
ELN webinars in 2026 had 960 live attendees from 1,855 registrations, which is 52 percent. That is above the live attendance range most B2B platforms publish. Six webinars passed 100 registrations, the largest reaching 170, and four closed registration early because they filled before the event date. The best live attendance rate was 73 percent, with 60 of 82 registrants joining a European finance webinar, while a cyber security webinar saw 105 of 146 registrants join live.
Benchmark audiences and platforms differ from ELN's, so treat the comparison as context. Sources: Goldcast webinar statistics for B2B marketers, Wistia webinar analytics benchmarks and MarketingProfs summary of ON24 B2B webinar benchmarks.

Executive dinner results
Executive dinners are small by design, so the measure is whether the right people were in the room. Dinners with recorded attendance seated between 10 and 20 senior leaders, against agreed targets of 7 to 15. A Vertex tax technology dinner contracted for 15 seated 20, a CyberProof cyber security dinner for 10 seated 13, and an Iomart cloud services dinner for 10 seated 11. Sponsors described the venues and conversations positively, and delegates at one event stayed to the close and connected on LinkedIn afterwards. How these results are reached
Registration is opened early and closed once a webinar or roundtable is full. Each event is built around a delegate target agreed with the client before launch. Where delegates cancel, the team follows up to book them into one to one meetings with the sponsor, and registrants who miss a webinar receive the recording. Every sponsor receives post event data covering registrations and attendance. For a framework on judging events after the fact, read how to measure the return on B2B events.
